About Us

Key Sports is a dynamic aspirational company with a proven track record in a highly competitive field.

The company was formed in 1999 by Colin Gordon and John Colquhoun following a highly successful time establishing a football division at 19 Management with Simon Fuller the man behind Pop Idol and the Spice Girls. In 2001 the team of Key Sports agents was expanded to four with the introduction of both Steve Denos and Warwick Horton.

Building on our core qualities of integrity, football knowledge and experience of the industry, we have developed a reputation for putting our clients interests first. With a geographical spread of personnel throughout the United Kingdom and partners in all the important football territories we can personally service the needs of our clients at all times.

We pride ourselves on the regular contact and trust we have with all our clients. We believe this helps us understand their needs at vital periods of their careers. The personnel at Key Sports have negotiated contracts and deal on a regular basis with clubs and commercial partners at decision maker level.

Claudia Capocciama and David Downes came on board in 2006 to help provide an even higher level of support for all of our clients.

The company has now matured into one of the leading sports management companies in Europe. Counting amongst our clients Steve McClaren, David James, Theo Walcott, the Kraken Opus and the NFL.
